About Oak Lodge Fostering

Oak Lodge High Support Fostering Services aims to provide high quality care for children and young people, 0 to 18 years of age who cannot live within their family home and require alternative placement. The fostering services provided by Oak Lodge will focus on meeting the individual needs of children within a nurturing family environment. Foster carers will be recruited, trained and supported to ensure they offer effective care to children and young people placed with them and will be central members of the 'helping team'.

The children and young people that use our services need support and guidance to work through the difficulties they are experiencing. They need carers who are sensitive to their early life experiences of abuse, neglect and rejection.  Oak lodge foster carers must be able to provide opportunities that enable children to reach their full potential.
